E-business in Micro Companies: Lessons Learned

Globalization and technology have interfered in the modern world, has become a part of society in general. Zabukovšek et al. (2015) state that much attention in the modern world is paid to major corporations and their involvement in electronic business. However, micro companies and medium-sized enterprises are also subject to change in the modern world. E-business has entered each country and every corner and micro companies and medium-sized enterprises are not an exception.
The authors of the article under consideration have conducted research paying attention to the role of electronic business in smaller companies. The article focuses on the analysis of the activities conducted via e-business and e-business solutions of payment and data issues. Some attention is paid to the attitude to e-taxes and the place of e-business in enterprises surveyed.
The research results based on the survey have indicated that micro companies and medium-sized enterprises involve e-business. The study has shown that 46% of respondents upgrade their business in an electronic direction.
